SELENITE is named after the Ancient Greek Goddess of the Moon, Selene. This is because its pure white light is similar to the light of the Moon, both visually and energetically. It has a cleansing effect that helps restore the energy of an individual, a space, and even other crystals. Many people leave their other crystals near Selenite for a cleansing re-charge (some even leave them out in the moonlight overnight). 🌙
