Trinitite from the Trinity Test Site // White Sands, New Mexico
TRINITIE is a crystal that formed during the world’s very first nuclear explosion on July 16th, 1945 at the Trinity Test Site at White Sands, New Mexico.
Trinitite is very unique and rare, especially because the US Army closed the site to the public years back and have made it highly illegal to take pieces from the site.
Our Trinitite collection was collected decades ago, before they made it illegal to hound.
Our Trinitite is also considered to be some of the nicest specimens of Trinitite for sale, due to the distinct crystals and true green color of each piece.
It’s Oppenheimer, it’s Manhattan Project, it’s New Mexico!
This listing is for one Trinitite specimen from the Trinitity Test Site in White Sands, New Mexico (as seen in the photos). This piece is approximately .25 inches long and .25 inches wide.
